Speedometer

Hi, I am looking for an original working speedometer and tacho (not necessary but comes as a pair) for my 2004 Rewaco HS4. Can anyone point me in the right direction

Yep, tried Ebay - can only source a generic brand however I want original in order to try to keep the trike unmodified as possible.

Either way looking forward to picking up some other good information and ideas

Well, I have no source for a direct replacement; but, some modern gauges actually utilize GPS to show speeds - thus no standard sender, just an electronics box.

And there are electronic Tachs out there as well. I think I would start inquiries with custom gauge manufacturers thru the Internet.....

Thanks for the reply. I may have to go down that, or a similiar path for the interim, as I am not having much joy with original equipment. Won't give up as I am trying to keep the trike as original as possible.

This might be a bum lead from Doghouse Repair but if they special order tachs maybe they can special order what you need or give you a lead as to where to go. This was just a search "2004 Rewaco HS4 parts". I know it's not HS4 but they still might be able to help.

Thanks for the info, you never never know if you don't try so I will give it a go = always optimistic but it is also good chatting to others about different things on this forum
