26K ~ Replace the rotors or cut them?
Thanks - jc
Replace them....Besides..I don't think you are going to find anyone that can/will cut/turn them...
is he talking front or rears?
Sorry - Rears.....I was wondering of they can do them on the bike - Like on a car
jc
The obvious thing is how bad there are worn or cut ... if there's the minimum thickness left after cutting ... your good.
I guess my thinking was that as they are basically Car rotors, and at that mileage they would most likely be fine - and if slightly pitted from road grime - Would be easy to turn. But probably not it seems. Off to order parts!
Thanks guys - jc
If you are talking rear rotors that are not grooved badly, match mark them, remove then and cross hatch them with some sand paper
Wash them off with soapy water and rinse them good
Do not use brake cleaner, this can transfer to the pads
