So, yesterday, the wife and I decided to ride to a town about 100 miles away for coffee on our GL1800 with a CSC kit on it.. It was a beautiful sonny day, with no wind. The road was twisty and every thing was going great. came up over a little Knowl and in the middle of our lane was a large white spot!! Cant go left as on coming traffic, too close to stop (one lane each way) art my speed so tried slowing down and going to the right as far as possible. not quite far enough!! My left wheel caught the edge of the white spot which turned out to be WET Paint!!!!! The trike kinda shifted a little(sacred the crap out of the wife) to the right. I pulled over to the side of the road at the first farmers turn off into a field. The paint was just dripping off the right corner of my beautiful Black trike!! The spray is all over the back up to and including the upper trunk. I have a call into my insurance provider. I think it will need a paint job on the back. Can't get it off wiltllh anything. Will let you know as the saga unfolds.....Ken
I saw a YouTube bit on paint scuff removal on a shinny red corvet that had white paint on it....they sprayed the white paint with WD40 ! Then used a spray bottle filled with soap and water, then LIGHTLY used a Mr. Clean sponge (the hard type) an cautiously rubbed, spraying and rubbing until ALL white paint was removed. They said don't rub unto the point you see red ( :-) in your case black ) paint show up on your mr. Clean sponge. I pray this might help. Good luck.
I had good luck using Turtle Wax Bug & Tar Remover when some red spray paint got on my white pickup.

Well, I got my rims cleaned, lots of chrome polish and a heck of a lot of elbow grease!! I took off my trunk rack, turn down exhaust ends and my hitch. I used paint stripper on them and got them cleaned up.Just need a little chrome polish and they will be done. Tomorrow I'm going to take off a few more pieces of chrome for paint removal. I hope to get a hold of my builder to look after the painted parts tomorrow. The insurance is going to cover the repairs under my policy(collision part) so it should only cost me the $500 deductible.....Ken
