I love days like that! Glad you had fun, but I wish we would get a bit of that rain up here in Ohio. Everything is so, so dry!
Decided to go on a ride today. So we went out for breakfast and then decided to Ride on up to Tuscaloosa Al. to go looking around. Rode all back roads and took our time. Had lunch out and then headed home. A little hot on the way home but as long as we were moving it was fine. Figured I better ride now calling for rain next 3 days. All in all had a great day. trike back in basement and clean. Cathy does not have to fix supper since we ate 2 meals out and are still full.
Have a great weekend.

We love rides like that, too! It's really nice when I don't have to cook after getting back. We've put about 8000 miles on our trike in the last 3 months. We rode almost everyday while in AR and now that we're in CO, we're riding at least every other day. We're planning on going over to Moab, UT next week and we'll ride every day for about 5 days. It's really becoming a passion!
Sounds like a nice ride Steve. Its raining pretty good down here in LA (Lower Alabama). Just got back from Moab Ut...what a place! Thats Arches National Park right?

Sorry about all that rain! Yup, Arches at Moab and hope to go through Canyonlands, too. If not, we'll save it for next year. We'll be going from Southfork over to Moab, spend a couple of nights over there somewhere. A guy gave us a "heads up" for this coming weekend in Moab. He said there is a motorcycle club--some kind of Banditos that are worse than the "original Hells Angels" and extra law enforcement has to be hired. Needless to say, we'll wait til after the weekend--don't want to get mixed up in something like that--they might want our trike!!!
Jim, you will have no problem with the Banditos. If you leave them alone they will leave you alone. There is a chapter close to us and they dont really bother anyone, theyre actually pretty private from my experience. If you havent visited Moab, you will LOVE it. I suggest booking a hotel in advance though because there arent that many in the town. There is an open air pizza place right on the main strip that has a killer homemade pizza buffet and draft beer. Nice atmosphere and great food. I`ll look up the name of it and post it later. Also found a great hotel just off the strip one block that had real nice rooms for $79 per night where the others were $100-150. It was recommended by a local and way better than we expected for the price. I`ll post that places info for you too if you want.

Thanks for the pizza info--sounds like what we'd like. Post the name of the hotel if you can remember it. We were thinking of staying in Monticello at the Running Iron Inn because it sounds unique, but we haven't seen it and won't make reservations without seeing it since it sounds a little different from a regular hotel.
Steve, sounds like a good ride. Glad you got that old rag out and blew the cobwebs off of it.... I've been running back and forth through Fay all week in Florida. I'm ready for some dry weather now.
