Yes they cut the stock mounting points off Harleys and weld to your choice of sissy bar, then send it out for chrome or black power coat
Yep They make them out of OEM Backrest Supports so they plug right in. As was stated, they are pricey, but the end products I saw were nice. You also have to be very patient. I ordered mine in April. Still waiting. But I am ok with that as it does not stop a guy from riding. When it gets here, it gets here. Mine is 35" tall Tipi bar with a custom pan and backrest.
I was incorrect when I said April.... I actually ordered it March 24th..... Still waiting
Not really.... They have 50% of a $600 bill for bar and pad..... So not much of a choice....
(Like John (LeeeKeee) said... they ain't cheap)
Shipped today they say.... can't wait....er uh...no .... make that long wait.....I hope it is as nice as I hope it will be. Fingers crossed...Pics posted on the "Chopper Project" thread when it arrives....
Kinda like Christmas ain't it
Yep a long wait and expensive, I'm Canadian .70 cent dollar compared to your US $
Have to say one of the buys yet
Post pics, I didn't get the pan and pad
