Last Thursday I was traveling west across Kansas on I-70 when I came up on an nice looking Indian with a lot of fringe. He had fringe on the saddlebags and the fringe on the grips was extra long. He was wearing a t-shirt and at 80 MPH the fringe was beating against his arms about 4 inches past his elbow. This arms were red from the flogging he was taking. Every chance he got he would cross his arms tight across his chest to give them some relief until he had to hold the handlebars to slow down or pass somebody and the flogging would start again. There was even a couple of times he would hold the handlebars near the center to keep his arms away from the fringe.
I don’t understand why somebody would subject themselves to that type of punishment. Maybe somebody can explain it to me. I am pretty sure I would have put on a shirt or coat. As a last resort I would have taken my knife to the fringe.
“Come and Take It!” “Remember the Alamo!” “Remember Goliad!”

I had a comment, but I like reading the 'others', seems I couldn't come up with something better. Big chuckles.
I guess his cool looking fringe is worth the torture
