i have 89 GWGL 1500 champion conv.. suddenly my drive shaft became disengaged on the fwy. i pulled the drive shaft and found the front sleeve was missing 2 allen screws the u joint is fine.. replaced and used permatex thread lock with reassembly
it did not appear to have ant on the other screws..
the drive shaft broke at the yoke about 8 years ago and was replaced ...had no issues since so i suppose i should be checking this from now on.
has this ever happened to anyone else??
