If you're riding a trike, do you wish you weren't?

I'm 51 (52 in May) and I can still ride 2 wheels but I know I won't be able to forever. I just went ahead and got a Trike and I really enjoy it more and my wife enjoys it more too. I ride for me and her and no one else. I'm perfectly happy on 3 wheels.

Whenever my buddies want to pick at me, I just ask them "How much do you ride yours?". Many of them have an inch of dust on theirs or just ride on the weekends. I put 4k miles on mine just in the winter. I'm just out here smilin', stylin' and profilin'. LOL

I know many people who own bikes that barely ride them at all. Check the listings for older bikes with low mileage and you'll see where I got my numbers from. It isn't hard to find a 10 or even 15 year old bike with less than 20,000 miles.

rode 2 wheels from 14 years of age till 45 years of age. turned a valkyrie interstate into a trike at 45 and never looked back. i will not nor do i wish to ride 2 wheels again. i love the freedom that 3 wheels gives me. alot of things i don't have to worry about anymore. like gravel, leaves, wet roads, i just feel more comfortable on 3 wheels.

Im old, bald, grouchy, cant half walk far but young women still look at me----in pity... but none of that is gonna stop me from building a COOL ASS trike ! Might even help with the young women thing LOL

From 2004 until 2019 I had both a Gold Wing bike and a Gold Wing trike.

I don't recall ever wishing I was on the bike when I was on the trike ... but I do recall a few times I was on the bike and wished I was on the trike.

Usually was weather related on a long way from home ride.
