Been on 2 wheels for over 40 years.

Still got my Sporty, gonna be keeping it.

Ultra got totaled this last August when a truck ran into me.

I got 20 broken bones, including right knee and 9 bones in right foot.

I am just now back walking (Sorta).

Pretty sure my leg/foot will not be able to handle a two up loaded bagger, pulling a leesure lite trailer.

So I have begun looking at trikes for the trips the wife and I take each year.

Am leaning toward a Vdub.

Great looking site. Will prolly be asking a bunch of newb questions.

Traveler, you are warmly welcomed to TrikeTalk.
20 bones broken..... that had to hurt! I love that you are going to get back out on the road, and a trike is a terrific way to do it!

Here is hoping you heal up very soon and start riding again. Welcome to Trike Talk, and we all hope you become a regular on this site.

Welcome aboard. Glad you joined us. sorry to read about the you and your bike. You will love triking I'm sure.

Welcome, You must be one tuff,TUFF guy!!!! Kinda had the same thing happen to me... Fell off my truck in Nevada and drove my right heel up to my ankle...Had my own tractor trailers so I had no choice but to drive it home with a broken foot, by the time I arrived home here in Pa. I had fracture blisters up my leg to my waist....Took me 18 mo. to heal up and get back to work...That was in 1997 and I since retired but the accident has came back to haunt me and the determining factor in my trike purchase...I like you was on 2 wheels for 50 years and just recently went to a trike... I know how much pain is involved here and hope it all goes well for you.... Welcome to the Forum like someone else has said lot of great people here....
