Passenger Foot Boards 2005 VTX!300S/MT

Does any one know what foot boards will fit my 05VTX1300S/MT. Was told by a MT dealer the Cobra would fit...ordered, arrived, will only fit if I cut out part of the fender. Wouldn't be pretty. Thanks for any advise.

If I recall, the Cobra "fits" if you install it folded down. It goes under the fender lip, and can't be folded up. Instead of floorboards, I installed Kury Pilots. I had to use their rear peg mount adapters. Wife likes them better then the stock pegs, and they match the Kury pilots I use as highway pegs. They also fold up.............

On my trike, the installer mounted support brackets to the peg mount holes, so I'm not sure if I could have bolted boards there anyway. I just installed mine lower near the swing arm...yep, had to drill new bolt holes, but... Momma like them better there anyway. Chumbly-
