Default What's In Your Tour Pak and Trunk?

My Tour Pak and Trunk are never empty. I always have Emergency Medical, Repair, Safety and Other Gear. What items, if any, do you keep on board at all times.

Tour Pak - Emergency Medical Kit, Mult Tool Kit, Air Suspension Pump, Half Helmet & Helmetless Headset, Mesh Jacket, Half Helmet, Trike and Boom Owners Manuals, Tire Gauge. Forgot to include the Tire Puncture Kit w/12 Volt Air Compressor and Backup C02 Inflator w/3 extra Cartridges. Extra pairs of Fingerless and Full Fingered Gloves. Dual USB Charger for Tour Pak Power Port.

Trunk - Rain Suit/Boots and Half Helmet.

These are always along for local or touring rides.

Tool kit, owners manual and half helmet (when I'm not wearing it). Hope I never have to use the tool kit and manual.

Need to purchase a torx set for traveling to add to the tool set. Mesh coat, gloves , maps, rain suit and a towel. Tire repair plugs but no air . If your tire bead breaks your screwed. Insulated water bottle to add. Otherwise I’ll wate for the help truck.

Or Cary a water bottle of gasoline and, a road flare. Set it on fire put the flare on the road so no one hits you, and collect the insurance . No waiting for assistance.

Agreed! Once had inner sidewall punctures, no joy with Plug Kit either.

Tour pack: OEM tool kit, micro fiber rags, towel, flexible tie downs (in case I need to fasten something to tour pack rack). Helmets and gloves stay in there when parked.

Trunk: rain suits, riding jackets, lawn chairs, extra towel.

I keep the tour pack fairly empty because generally speaking the TG is also my daily driver for trips to the store and such.

I want the Jesse James tour pack. I saw him on tv, he said if you can't fit it in your pocket you don't need it. Sure enough headed for Sturges next thing you know he has a hat, hummm wonder where that came from? Ridin farther down the road now he's got a jacket. Seems he always had what he needed. He either had the invisible tour pak, or he was pullin stuff out of his ass. Anyway whatever he was using didn't clutter his bike up at all.

Tour Pak while parked: Leather Jacket, liner, vented jacket ( will generally were one of these while riding), full face helmet (always wear when riding), various charging cables in a pouch for phones and Bluetooth items in the winter I will add gauntlets.

Trunk: Tool bag (includes CruzTOOLS RTH3 kit, 1 quart oil, TG manual, needle nose pliers, side cuts, a few Allen and torqs sockets that are not in the kit, wire ties), rain gear for myself and wife, extra change of clothes in case I get rained on while on the way to work, bungee net, chaps for both of us, in winter I will add heated gear, small box of OEM parts.

Saddle bags: left side will have full finger and half finger vented gloves and a pair of full finger leather gloves. right side is the wife's and she usually has a pair of readers in there and snack while we are riding.

I'm certainly not fortunate enough to have a camera crew and fleet of support vehicles following whenever I take a road trip.

Mine's not a Tri-Glide, but I found this thread interesting.

Tour Pac, Daily Rides: Rain gear, jacket, rags, tire gauge, phone charger (I put a power outlet in), with room left for my helmet, plus leather and other gear when the weather calls for it.

Trunk, Daily Rides: Tire tool, tool kit, 1 extra gallon of gas and an extra quart of motor oil (Old Harleys leak a little )

Tour Pac, Long Trips: Same as above, but rearranged to accommodate a small travel bag.

Trunk, Long Trips: Same as above, but add an additional gallon of gas (never trust a 32 year old gas gauge ) and quart of oil, and another travel bag.

Anything else I may need goes in a pack tied to the rear seat (wife doesn't like to ride) and/or in a removable barrel bag tied to the rack on the Tour Pac. Basically, ten pounds of dookey in a five pound bag!

    PEACE and ride safe!

In my trunk I carry a Cruz HD tool kit ($32)https://www.denniskirk.com/cruz-tool...81088990128187 I have not found a better small kit for a Harley. I added some various cable ties & a roll of electrical tape.

I have a small charging kit to recharge anything. I have a HD 12V plug mounted on the front wall that's hot all the time. The kit has a 4' USB/mini USB charging cable & a 12V USB plug with 2 USB ports.

A small spray bottle with Lucas Speed Wax & a micro-fiber towel.

It also has the owners manual & some paperwork.

Spare gloves & 1 of those universal bungee nets to secure anything.

Also, a disk brake lock & reminder cable.

I don't carry the air shock pump unless I going a longer distance. I am pretty much done playing with the shock air pressure.

I'm certainly not fortunate enough to have a camera crew and fleet of support vehicles following whenever I take a road trip.

Well let's see. Tour pac has extra gloves for wifey and I plus bandanas and tire gauge, insurance card, dd214/T&P disability paper work from VA, American Flag and POW Flag(when not flying), cable ties, multi tool.

Trunk has 2 rain suits, tool kit, tire plug kit, jacket for wife and I, first aide kit. I know I missed something but that is the usual stuff.

My tour pak/trunk is always empty on the trip out, but, full on the trip in ... it's where I put the cr$p I buy as mementos.
