You aren't far from the truth....The Slingshot takes up so much space , That i had to move my wife's SUV to the spot in the garage where i always parked my Motorcycles and trikes So i can get the Slingshot in without hitting things.....So now she is still mad about moving after 48 years parking in the same spot......Go figure

I've done it, put wax on but leave it till spring. Not much harder to buff … if at all.

I'm going to give this a try during winter hibernation period...Actually what I did was to apply wax to the inside of my top case, and left it there for four months, NO ONE COULD SEE IT THERE, ANYWAYS, and the wiped it off..your right no problem....
