Had the bike about a year. Last weekend, got stuck on a 16 mile "road" that should not have been labled a "road" The two wheeler's with me were even taxed. Thought my kidneys etc. were done for. "Dont go on those roads", you say. Seems like all of California, is turning into those roads.. Maybe a Lehman convesion, a Spyder. Something! Maybe Harley will "get independent suspension". NOT.

Sorry to say......Unless you have 4 wheels' The Spyder, Slingshot, or Conversion trikes

won't be any better .....With 3 wheels one wheel will hit a pot hole, With 4 wheels you can straddle most holes and sunken manhole covers.. When i ride up any bad roads with my Truck, Verses any trike i ever had i feel like i'm in a Cadillac by comparison...

Thomas I agree with Rhino. Roads as you describe would be bad on any 3 wheeler. If you have not done any of the modifications that others have done to the TRI suspension I would suggest you give that a try. Go to the DK Products web (located on the forum page toward bottom) and read what they say about the mods. I have done them on my 13 TRI and the difference is substantial. Good luck in your decision.

Sorry to hear this, that is one thing about 3 wheels, hard to dodge pot holes, 2 wheeler is better, here in Iowa the roads aren't very good either and I keep hearing about the roads how good they are, guess these people don't drive on them very much

Check out Kool Trikes they have a IRS upgrade for the Tri Glide installed for $5995.Considering that HD wants $7000 difference to trade my 17 in for a 2019 with the same axle just different shocks its an option.Granted an expensive one but still an option.

After over 100k miles on a Tri-Glide, and many of those over roads like in the Yukon, we have developed suspension components for the HD Trikes that ride VERY SMOOTH, even in difficult circumstances.
