Well, it's that time again. The leaves are beginning to fall. I've had a wonderful time in the Berkshires of Western Mass. this summer. 52 degrees here as I type. Soon to go home to 91-degree heat in SW Florida. Straight roads, flat roads and 90 degree turns. YUK! But I can ride 24/7/365.:) Winters in Florida are great!

Traveled from Tulsa, OK to Sioux City Iowa today and saw somewhere around 75 bikes and trikes riding south on the interstate. Temps were ranging from the low 70's to low 80's all day with very little wind. A great day to be out.

Enjoy your time in Florida.

I had a wonderful ride yesterday, Just crank up the heated jacket, a bit, and all was well.......

Started out for home from pa yesterday was 60* with clear sky’s. As going east around noon, got cloudy and temps dropped . Still nice fall riding in the NE as long as it don’t go below 60. Then it shortens the rides. For me anyway

54 * and heavy rain..... Ain't gonna do too much riding to day...The temps don't bother me i have two types of heated jackets....Its the rain that does....It kinda takes the fun out of the ride.....:(..

Sounds like you don't have a roof kit on that ride of yours, Bob???

Fresh rain X on W/S, and the roof, you could ride year round...

I do have the roof, And i do ride in the rain its about 75% effective on the move, Works great at red lights and riding slow, But The new breed of car drivers out there keep me on 100% alert and that kinda takes the enjoyment out of a ride....:afraid:

Might be enough days left for those that gripe about high temps to get one or two rides in before they are done for the year. Me? I just purchases a new rain jacket after proving the one I had didn't work with a dang. Rain doesn't stop me but I do prefer not walking around looking like I peed my pants after water migrates down to the neither region from jacket leaking.:mad::mad: Hope this new one works better. It should as my wife has the same one and rode in the same rain where I got soaked and she was dry. The only difference is she is on a Spyder and I'm still on a 2 wheeler. So we'll see. I won't let it stop me either way.:D:D:D

Butch,

Have a good/safe trip back to Fla.

I have to say that it was very nice meeting and taking a ride with you, and also meeting your lovely wife, "she's a keeper" I love her smile, and the way that she can keep conversations going, at the lunch @ Russell Inn restaurant even with folks that she didn't know, and had just met.....:clapping: Hope too see you again next season, if you plan on coming back to the camping ground..

Ronnie
