Ok I have the J and S trike jack for my 2016 triglide, got rid of it now I have the conversion kit coming and should be here Monday. I know on my 2016 I had to loosen a clamp and rotate it to make it easier to jack up, learned it on here.

So my question what should I expect with the conversion kit installed for my 2018 trike, will the drive belt be in the way when jacking up, I know for my 2016 it stopped short of drive belt the old way, the new way I will be pushing jack in on left side instead of right, just need some pointers I guess what to expect for the ones that have them for the 2017 and 2018 and with Capt Bob getting a 2019, I know I can wait and see for myself but just a heads up is all I'm asking to what to expect, just glad I didn't sell the jack, had it for sale and no callers, glad now since I have a 2018, it would cost me more to get a jack now than it did when I bought this one. The conversion kit is $124.95 and that includes shipping both ways.

I guess I should say anyone that has the new style that goes in the left for their 2017 or 2018, I know Capt Bob does and a few others but they don't post here very often anymore, not sure why

I use a J&S jack on my 2015. It slides in from the left. Just make sure that the jack lift clears the belt and sits firmly on the front section of the swing arm. Slide the jack in from the left side of the bike wth the left side of the jack about 1" in front of the left tire. When raising the trik, make sure it clears the bolt heads on the exhaust cross section. Make sure that the parking brake is engaged before lowering the trike. Don't want the left wheel to roll forward on the jack when it touches down.

Well I got the conversion kit for the J and S trike jack installed, got it raised up, it was easier on my 2016 going in from the right side than it is on this 2018 from the left side, I noticed it was more sturdy in the air on the 2016 than it is on the 2018, if I remember right going in from the right side I had more contact points on the frame that I do on this 2018, the left part of jack hits the frame rails but the part on right side that you raise only catches part of the swing arm I guess, it is a big piece that it sits on, I can push a little on front fender light and it moves up and down or back and forth whichever you want to call it. Like I said had more contact points on my 2016 triglide than this one, guess I will have to live with it, I guess when I get around to wax it on the lift I will have to be careful or when I polish the rims also.

Trampas, Currently traveling. When I get back home, I will test out my J&S jack that worked well with my 2017. I will try it on the 2019. They have changed the suspension but I don't know about fitment?

I hope the jack works for you on the 2019 Capt Bob, enjoy the traveling.

Ok, with the old style J and S jack going in on the right side you had 4 contact points to make it sturdy, remember the video from J & S showing the guy getting on the trike, with this new style going in on the left side their is only 3 contact points, which makes it act like a teeter totter effect if you push on the front fender light so lightly, so I won't be testing it out by sitting on it, but it does get it up in the air and for me that is a plus for storage in the winter with tires off the ground, I'm anal about tires off the ground, just me, it will come in handy for waxing up in the air so I don't have to bend over so far with this old back of mine.

For everyone's information, I'm happy with the jack, if I didn't have a jack I would still buy a trike jack from J and S, with what harley did underneath the trike with exhaust and crossover and all other crap underneath I'm glad J and S got their jack to work on the newer models. Let's hope Capt Bob can make it work on his new 2019 trike.

I ordered the J & S jack on 9/12. It has not been shipped to me as of this date. Everything I have read has been good about this jack. I have been in contact with them four times by phone and email since the advertised "two week delivery" date. I got the same response every time. "Just got parts back from the powder coat people. Jack will ship Wed, Thurs at the latest". Last three phone calls, no one answers, but my call is very important to them. I know its a good jack, but customer service sucks. I hate being lied to when I spend over 600 dollars on an item. When I ordered the jack, I asked her if there were any back ordered parts or anything that would hold up delivery, as I read much about their slow shipping, I was told no, it should ship by the end of the week--six weeks ago. Last call I asked to cancel my order and credit my card. Too bad, it's a good jack and I really wanted it. It's also too bad they treat their customers this way. Being honest with me would have made all the difference.

I'm sorry to hear this, have read on other forums about being slow and not very good customer service, when I ordered my jack over 2 years ago I got it in 2 weeks if I remember right, I tried selling it on craigslist after getting rid of my 2016, it didn't sell and now I'm glad, I bought a 2018 and had to order the conversion kit, I did have a little trouble getting it, but not that bad, maybe 2 weeks at most, didn't charge my card until it was sent. Yes it is a good jack and sorry for your experience.

The J&S Tri Glide lift works on the 2019 as well as the 2017 and 2018.

I am very happy to report that I got an opportunity to try out my J&S Tri Glide hydraulic lift this afternoon and it works just like it did on my 2017 TGU. Whew!

I'm glad it will work on your 2019, that would be a bummer if it didn't since the price is way up there
