My favorite HD tech. John Maxwell, just released a short video explaining the problem with the clutch & discusses the recall.

So did you get yours fixed?
I rode back to St. Louis from southern California in 115° heat last year & rode in several 90-100 degree days & mine has not done it. I think its a bad batch of seals in the slave cylinder. I really hope it's not a heat issue .
I also got my recall letter yesterday for my 2018 Tri Glide and the 2017 Limited I traded in. I was put on "The List" last week for the repairs when they get enough parts.
The dealer still has my 2017 in the lot.
When this thread came out I checked to see if mine was on recall or not, it wasn't at the time, now it is, I got my letter from harley davidson motor company saying it is, will have to check with dealer since it is winter here and my bike is on the lift and put away for the winter

2017's & 18's. What year do you have?
It is a 2018 triglide in black, if I remember right you posted on my post with the pics of it, being your freewheeler is black also, can't say for sure but I think you did, it was posted on 10-16-18 with my pics, oh well, hind sight now and quite a few threads back.

The reason I ask is your profile says you have a 2016 trike.
