The harness is pre-wired & they give you a new plug, so I can take the easy way out & cut the old plug off & remove the stock gauge. Their instructions are top notch too with detailed steps & colored pictures.

I will post a pic after installation.
That is a cool looking gauge set up, Kury products have come a long way. I remember when they first debuted their products in Sturgis. Their line of products was small and close copies of others. Glad to see they are doing good and have cutting edge goodies

Dodged the rain on a visit to see my sister. I enjoyed being on the highway. I believe social distancing will go on for some time.

    Default New windshield plastic

I replaced my Freewheeler's stock 16 inch windshield plastic with a Clearview shields plastic. The Clearview I got is their 2 1/2 inch wider than stock and 17 1/2 inch height with recurve. I got a clear windshield.

I get much less wind on my chest and buffeting on my helmet. This relieves stress on my arms with less chest wind. My line of site is over the top 1 inch of the Clearview shield. I notice at interstate speeds much less sensitivity in the steering meaning the bike does not tend to shoot into the next lane with the slightest turn on the handle bars.

I finally made my way to the garage to visit my FW. I am hearing rumors it may actually stop raining here in STL next week.

I installed my new Kuryakyn LED fuel/voltage gauge & it was a very easy job & I like the finished product. The mechanical OEM fuel gauge was useless on my FW. I dont have much in the tank (2 gallons), but the last LED on the fuel gauge is supposed to flash red with 1 gallon left, and you can program it if it's off. I really like having the DC voltage gauge.

There is also an automatic sensor to adjust the LED's at night.

Ride, eat and ride some more I should wash it but riding is at the top of the list, plus it rains almost every day here so it does get a bit of cleaning while I ride

Nice day for a longer ride.

Lots of traffic, very few bikers?

I wonder why, gas is still cheap Florida is open, restaurants @ 50%. THe lockdown is winding down. I am going to Daytona for the long week end.

Enjoy your Daytona trip & please take some pictures & post them.

I may actually not rain tomorrow, so I'm gonna try to get a ride in.

I got a very nice 45 mile ride in before the afternoon rains here in STL. It is supposed to rain the next 4 days.

I stopped and filled up with 93 octane at $2.05 a gallon. I am really liking the new LED gas/voltage gauge.

I thought that I had a gas tank float problem, it turns out the mechanical OEM gauge just did not read accurately. The new gauge is working well.

Here in STL, we are having a stretch of good weather. I checked my tire pressures, all good & then decided to drain & replace my primary fluid, as I had 1 last quart of HD Formula + to use. It has only been about 5,000 miles & the drained fluid was filthy, I'm assuming due to clutch material. There was no metal on the magnetic drain plug.

I managed to get a quick wax job on the paint & the Lucas speed wax I have used for years continues to impress me.

When I make the switch to Redline, I'm going to try and go longer, but it just bothers me that the primary fluid gets so dirty.

I will get a nice ride in tomorrow, as I have a granddaughter's birthday gift to deliver.
