Have decided that I will sell my 2015 Freewheeler. Don't ride much anymore and it needs a new home. Can anyone tell me where to find typical retail value for used bikes by zip code? Have googled it but mostly what comes up if advertising for insurance, etc. for bikes. Kelly Blue Book, JD Powers or ?????

Morning Danny, sorry to hear that you're parting ways with the Freewheeler but I understand.... have you looked into Cycle Trader? Perhaps Ebay search for Freewheeler and go to the history on Sold or completed auctions in the filters

Run by your local Harley dealer and tell them that you want to sell it…Outright no trade…And that will give you a lowball starting price….Add about five or six hundred to the price and that should be about right..

I put my Gold Wing trike on consignment at the local motorcycle dealer here.

They put it on Cycle Trader and it sold in 2 weeks for a very good price. No hassles with lowball offers or risking test drives or downright weirdos coming to my house. They handled everything. They said someone from Nevada bought it… a far cry from Kerrville. It was a good deal for me and I intend to do the same with my current ride when the time comes.

Hey Paws, I sold my Honda Valkyrie on consignment and it worked out well. I may have to do that again. Problem right now is most of the dealers around here are overloaded with inventory and don't want to buy or take a consignment. Kind of a waiting game now.
