I'm surprised you could hear anything after all those years ridin Harleys. Huh? Just saying could you repeat that? I don't need no damn hearing aid. What?

I am not much on waxing my trike, however on a whim I bought this from Amazon and I cannot believe how it shines

The coating is very slick, a little bit goes a long way, for the price and results I am pretty happy

Do you have to strip the old wax or can you go right over it?

I just washed and dried it, the ceramic got rid of the few water spots left behind also

The coating is super slippery when it dries, bugs and road grime now slide off and do not stick

Default Break in weather AND in bike.

Made an appointment with dealership to pick up FW for diagnostic check to determine why no power to bike.

Bike has been on trickle charger.

Went to start bike and engine turned over but did not start. After a couple of cycles, I let everything settle and tried again.

This time I heard a loud click from left side, everything went dead and there was a smell of burning wire.

I checked all the fuses, and all appear intact.

Glad it's not full riding season.

Weather hit 58 and the sun was shining. Managed 40 miles and hoping for an uptick in the weather mid week here in South Jersey.

I've been using their liquid polymer wax for about a year and generally like it. The directions on the ceramic stuff have scary warnings about not spraying too much on or it can streak your paint and be difficult to remove, but don't use too little or it won't work as well and things like that. Haven't been ambitious enough or had the time or weather to fool with. My brother swears by it. I'm probably making it more complicated than it is in my head.

The cerakote is fool proof, spray on, use 1 of the supplied cloths to spread it, use the second one to buff it

Do small swats at a time, turns out shiny and slippery, I doubt I will ever wax again

    Nice!

I have used a different brand on 3 bikes, and really like it. However, next go around I am going to try this. Thanks!

Put on a set of these Kuryakyn Chrome Spark Plug Covers. They are very well made and use a unique mounting system.

Nice add on. When are you going to change that weak factory shifter? Those cheap rod ends they use @ the factory are pure junk get some of these, your shifting will be way better and you wont have to worry about them falling off

I was sure that I would do the Black Carved Shifter Linkage but the Chrome one seems to be really the right choice for my FW. Any input is always appreciated.

Those shift rods look nice, but I am afraid they have the same type of cheap rod ends

    Are those found on Amazon?

Hi Jack, do you have the nomenclature or URL for the rod ends you are using?

They are both Kuryakyn … about $100 each. Do the HD linkage upgrades have the correct rod ends on them? I don’t care for the logo ones but HD does also offer a plain chrome one
