Out and about riding in the rain
Nuff Said," Were Burnin Daylight, Lets Ride"(Sober 37 years)
Current ride : 2021 FREEWHEELER M8, oldest ride 1960 FL
Well it was raining all day yesterday so I set up a small spraying area under the Freewheeler in my garage and colour matched the new fairing, here are a few pictures....
Just a couple of small holes from the manufacturing process that needed filling and as it came already primed and sanded it was ready for 2 colour coats and 2 clear coats in matt.
Then back on the Freewheeler, very happy with the result. Total cost was about £50 ($67), much better than the £350 ($470) I was quoted...happy days

Sorry, some of the pictures have come out the wrong way but you get the idea
Looking good, looking forward for reviews on your set-up, ? who makes the fairing.
Hi It's from Tsukayu and I went for a plain fairing (no sound system) with a small storage shelf to store sunglasses etc. I liked it because it is a one piece molded fairing rather than 2 seperate pieces with a join along the top edge. It came quicker than expected and Im really happy with it. It is lockable but with a turn of the key lifts off for the summer
Added Stabil to fuel tank, and rode it for 1-mile. That should have mixed it pretty well.
I like to do this treatment, as it will probably be parked for a few months.

Installed Custom Dynamics LED luggage rack light on Kim's Freewheeler today.

Paid it off last week.
Blowing oil out the A/C so I decided it was time for an upgrade!
I have not rode my poor neglected FW in so long due to health issues, i hope it starts & I hope I remember how.
I may try tomorrow.

Im sure with time you will be out and about, better to go when you feel comfortable rather than push things too quickly and regret it
One of my lockdown projects was to improve the air intake to iliminate the milky residue from entering the engine.
This is just some of the resisue build up on the inside of the throttle body after 3000 miles.
I now have the breather system going down to a K&N filter rather than back into the engine
It was a simple job really, there are companies that produce kits to do the job but I went the DIY route and saved some money in the process. I removed the filter and drilled 2 8mm holes in the backplate. I removed the factory rubber tubes from the breather bolts and relaced them with 2 approx 6" long breather hoses routed outside the A/C housing and then joined them using a "T" piece behind the filter housing so that it couldn't be seen, then I joined them to a piece of stainless steel braided hose to be routed above the engine and down to a filter that I mounted on a home made bracket, that is basically it, job done. No more gunk going into the air intake, sorry that some of the pictures are the wrong way up amd I can't see a way to correct them
