Talk to Otto at Engines by Otto in Sugar Grove, Il He can do a trike on a adjustable two track dyno that is sometimes used for automobiles. He is a top notch engine tuner. His phone is (630) 466-3900. He is not cheap but he's very good.
Mine is 97.89 Hp and 99.9 lbs torque.... Big boar kit, 103, pipes heavy breather 255 s/e cams after market tuner..... I am going to get true duals for her this spring and re-tune... Prolly loose small amount of punch but will need to pull the heat away from the wife's leg.... Also have the 32 tooth sprocket on the front....

Just had my 2010 HD Tri Glide dyno'ed at Lake Ozark HD here in Missouri. I replaced my stock exhaust and tuner. No more cat converter on my Harley. Looks and sounds great!
Thanks Harley Girl....I'll give him a call

So Chief what did it dyno out at ?
C'mon Chief we want numbers buddy
My HD dealer has installed a trike dyno and will have it up and running after the New Year...I can't wait!
I had my 07 CVO Ultra with Lehman conversion dyno'd at Superstition HD in Apache Junction, AZ last summer after installation of Wood TW7 cams and SE Pro Super Tuner in 110 CI engine with Ness big-sucker AC & Rhinehart true duals w/ quiet baffles.

The torque curve with the TW7 cams is fairly flat starting out at 1800 - 2100 RPM with 80 ft-lbs, rises to 90 ft-lbs @ 2500 RPM, max's at 92 ft-lbs @ 3000 RPM, and stays above 90 ft-lbs until around 4200 RPM. The low-end torque and flat torque curve produced by the TW7 cams seem to be a better match for a trike than the SE255's that came stock on the bike.

Although the engine performs better than it ever has (smoother, cooler, better performance), I am a little disappointed in the overall torque numbers as a trike compared to bike. The dyno tune/test that was run shortly before the trike conversion showed 85 ft-lbs @ 2300 RPM, 100 ft-lbs @ 2800 RPM, 110 ft-lbs @ 3500 RPM, holding above 100 ft-lbs until around 4500 RPM.

The technician at SHD as well as the owner of another performace shop that does alot of dyno work on both bikes & trikes have stated that they normally see lower torque numbers on trikes than bikes by about 20%.

Anyone else have a similar experience??
My understanding true dual exhaust hurt the performance of the trike, torque wise...

Otto in Sugar Grove did some work on my 1997 Road King. It's great to know he has the dyno to tune Trikes. Will have to run out there in Spring,, Ride Safe!
good question. I looked at my reciept and don't see any numbers related to engine dyno. I will call the deeler and let you know.

Yep there is much more load on the heavier trike...It will show lower torque every time ...

Then Harley is taking the advertized specs of 100ftlbs of toruque for the TRI from a two wheel 103 motorcycle more likley from crankshaft.
ttom, wife and triglide:clan:
I guess I should have said the the dyno numbers on mine were before it was triked.....

Their numbers are taken at the crank. One thing I find funny is they arrive at 101 ft/lb at 3,500 rpm from the present 103 and the same numbers on the old CVO 103. What I find odd is the night and day differance in heads, cams and pistons between the old CVO 103 and the present 103, I do smell a skunk around some place.
