When did you order your Stallion? Do you have a tentative delivery date?

I received conformation of Production #437 on 7/8/08 through Southwest trikes Phoenix, Arizona. With a catch, CA requires a motorcycle to be less than 1500 lbs. They say this will happen in the fall when they get the injected molded bodies in production. I also hear rumors of some front suspension and rear differential changes. These changes may also help meet the weight requirement. Anyway I’m still trying to find out what the changes are/will be.

Kathy has been great to deal with, I don’t know how many emails went back and forth and she always replied promptly with answers to my questions. I think I asked so many questions they sent me an owners manual. That’s what sold me on ordering through SouthWestTrikes. Anyway, no dealers in CA at the time. My guess is the production number may change if they have not met the CA motorcycle requirements.

Don't forget you need to take it easy for the break in period, and stay off your cruise control. The hardest thing to get use to is all the attention, and the questions, and the rides for the kids. Give your self additional time where ever you go, because people will expect you to talk to them because they have questions. The most common thing you will hear them say is "I never seen anything like it!", and "Is that a car or a motorcycle??", and my all time favorite...."What happens when it rains?" Their is only one answer to the last questions.... "You get wet!" Enjoy and good luck.
