Okay ... so ... incase you haven't figured it out yet (not likely), I'm pretty anal about documenting just about everything I do to a ride.

I have a "Vehicle" program that allows me to keep track of everything I can think of about the vehicles. It's also a form of "therapy" for my overly active brain ... LOL ... whenever I get to feeling like it's "going off the rails" I attack the vehicle program to "entertain it".

I digress, so as you can imagine, I've had some time on my hands while rehabbing, although not as much as I thought. So one of the things I've worked on was preparing a listing report for various services and vehicles. Wow ... that was an eye opener. I have my work cut out for me. I got my program to print a pdf format report and I converted it to a jpeg. For what it's worth, here it is.

That's a nice way of keeping track of everything. I notice you don't have the price of the items......smart move!

I do track pricing ... but I didn't want to give the wrong impression. Lots of these items have been on more that two or three bikes. For example, the belly pan was purchased in like 2002 and used on many 1800's.

Stuff that can't be removed without leaving a "hole" ... I usually end up repurchasing. Unless I didn't like them.

I have purchased a lot for Jessica, Kuryakyn Trunk Rack, Riser and Wingstuff Washers, back rest and the Fire Stick antenna's, a CB radio antenna, Jessica doesn't have a CB, but, I like the symmetry of two antennas.

The Fire Sticks mod is gonna be "different". I'm mounting two 3' Blue at the top, white on the middle, and red at the bottom. There are also white stars in the blue ... LOL ... I think it will look good. I've used the fire sticks on the am/fm radio before and they work really well. I will probably get started on her in a week or so, it's all dependent on the knee.

In the listing with prices ... I'm just under $3k for all the accessories I've already installed or will. Not too bad when you look at the list. And like I said, most of this stuff has been on a few bikes .. at least 3. so $1k a bike average. Must be noted, my 08 GW trike, I put a Kuryakyn Trunk rack on. Took it off before I traded it and put a Chinese $65 rack ... so you'd have to add $65 to the cost.

Another consideration is I tend to comparative shop. for example, my Kuryakyn luggage rack, I bought

"open box" at a rally, no instructions or screws ... $140, I think Kuryakyn sells them for $240-250. Cost me like $5 for SS screws and washers.

My Show Chrome Backrest I bought on eBay, Used once, for $100. The seller wanted to go with the utopia, where it is "in" the seat. Stuff like that has saved me big $$. Never seemed to get those deals with the Harley stuff ...

I'll bet I've got between $5k-10k of Harley stuff. I keep hanging on to it. I figure it will either become obsolete and be worth what I paid for it ... or ... I'll end up with another Harley ...
