Burlap bags are necessary That’s the only way you can get the cat down the chimney just make sure the rope is long enough to get them back up, And don’t use a new rope or they will complain 😱📞📞Ya know sometimes I get the impression you don't like cats.

People think cats are unaware of your intentions. Ok those are dog people. If you have a dog and get up to go somewhere, that dog will jump up and follow you. Cats might move their ears and listen for the food closet to open, if it doesn't then you're on your own. My cats are working cats.
