It is my understanding that you cannot import a trike from USA to Canada. I am looking for a trike 07 and newer but I don’t see many listed in Canada. Any suggestions.

Yep you can't import.....But Google Trike converters in Canada; There are a few...

Never had issues before 2001 with transferring ownership back and forth between Canada as long as they met MOT and the United States and then Lehman Trikes from Alberta went onto the Canadian Stock Exchange and subsequently moved to South Dakota.

It seemed like overnight things changed at the border. No new US motorcycle Trike Conversions.

No good deed ever goes unpunished ..... :Shrug:

That has to do with the VAT....Tax....Someone has to pay for free healthcare...

When i was on the Spyder forums the big complaint from Canadian members was that even though the Spyder was made in Canada you can buy one from a US dealer for thousands less ......But you can't bring it back up to Canada and register it....

Can't Have it both ways.........

Give the Canadian Boarder Agency a call.....very nice people to talk to.

I imported a Goldwing from the US in 2011 with no issues.....but I did do my homework.

I believe that if a Goldwing was imported into Canada with an approved conversion such as Lehman.....you might not have any problems.

The important thing is to have all your ducks in a row before making a move!

Alberta Ca.. Richard does a very nice job and I would recommend him to anyone.
