2018/19 GoldWing - Roadsmith Conversion at Bike Week

Visited the Roadsmith vendor's area (at Daytona Int'l Speedway) during Bike Week and saw a nice 2018 Goldwing-Roadsmith conversion.

Here are some pictures that I took:

















Although I didn't get a picture of the open trunk, it did not appear as big as the trunk on my HT1800 conversion, it looked smaller, front to back. Optical illusion?

Of course, they had many other models/conversions on display also.

I don't think Fuzzy is in denial. Every rider has the one ride / bike that will alway be their however ride.

According to Roadsmith specs, the trunk is larger on the HTS1800 and the new HTX1800:

30.5" wide X 17.5 deep X 17" tall

The measurements on the HT1800:

27" wide X 15" deep X 14" high opening

Nice looking trike, and the fastest color! I haven't seen any 18's that I was particularly fond of until seeing this.

Good thing too, since the top case is smaller, gotta pick up some room somewhere, especially for the two up riders. Those getting the aux fuel tank, that will take some of the RS trunk space. My 'older conversion', I'm satisfied the additional slide in rack for the water proof bag.

Dang I was planning on going to Daytona bike week, but time just passed me "bye" way too fast, and I missed it again this season... I guess I was just too busy going snow skiing

I'm surprised there are no "Upper" brake lights/turn signals. I'd be adding some auxilliary lights ASAP.

They get the trunks any bigger .. they'll be putting bodies in there ...
