Not secure

Was wondering why this forum isn't secure, ever since I joined I seen at top of page it isn't secure, says not secure, just curious, really had trouble yesterday and was I mad, couldn't view anything, hit on something and then a pop up came up about unsafe website all highlighted in big red letters. Finally how to view the topic, but had to do it on all topics and that really made me mad, later when I came back the web page that normally comes up was compeltly different, gave up and left, not sure how I was going to log in to post, but later that night I could get on the normal way and the topics came up when I hit them, sure like to know why and how come this website isn't secure like all the other websites I go to are.

The issues you were experencing occurred because the SSL certificate expired. Every true website today must have a valid certificate. Randy and his team of moderators do an excellent job of keeping this site running safe and spammer free. All of us on the forum should say THANK YOU!.

Thanks for the replies, working good but still not secure, there is not padlock at the top like most websites that I go to, when you click on circle i at the top left hand of page it says this your connection to this site is not fully secure, when on the triglide page it says not secure. From what I read I guess attackers can see what you are viewing.

Ok, still going to visit this website, have learned alot here and it is a very friendly people here, thanks Randy for at least getting it so I can view it and log in with no problems

No lock, but the first letters of the web address say ‘https’, which means it is indeed a secure website. The ‘s’ stands for secure.

If not a secure website, the prefix would be just ‘http’.
