Well the new to me 2012 Tri is finally at its new home........

A couple maintenance items to take care of, fluids change and a new front tire and she's ready for the road. I need to adjust the parking brake but I don't see that as a non road worthy safety item. Brake fluid master's looked good and were topped off and brake pads look good.

Any other suggestions are welcome.

You didn't say how many miles? But at a minimum get a set of the 2012 Touring Service and Trike Supplement Manuals. Then you can see the recommended service items and checks based on mileage. Enjoy!!

Nice looking ride seems well taken care of when you can pick up a shop manual and Triglide supplement just to have and help with anything that may come up. Parking brake adjustment is a simple operation with the supplement instructions be careful doing it and don't get it overly tight you will eat the rear brake pads off, I did it a little different for a while, not all that pretty but it worked till I got to adjusting the lever. Terry I checked to new members thread and history of your machine God bless you and now it is a special ride for you. You may want to watch the heat there are several things you may want to do for the longevity of the motor and rider comfort just something to think about. again nice Tri. enjoy the ride and the memories. And welcome aboard and enjoy the ride. Nice looking trike for sure. Take it slow & easy as you get used to it. They are a blast to ride! Just remember the rear end is much wider than when you are on 2 wheels, especially around curbs & gas pumps.

I just serviced my fw getting it ready in case warmer weather arrives in the next few months. Seriously though, i checked the moisture level in all hydraulic fluids. Brake fluid (front) was clear but tested 3% moisture. Rear brakes fluid clear but tested between 3- 4%. Clutch fluid filthy and 4% moisture. A little over an hour to flush fluids (my wife kept mc full while i vacuumed. Test ride revealed fluids definitely needed changing.
