Back to the original topic , if I had the older model with the pump issue , and did not have a issue , I’d go to the dealer and tell them that the temp light comes on and off all the time. They will replace it as a intermittent problem . Worth the inquiry before a trip , as it ruined my last years MV trip

Not sure that would fly.. First thing they looked for was diagnostic code to verify the pump quit working. That said, this new one is same as on the newer bikes. $500 plus to repair.... $50 for me with the ESP. Dealer told me it is a bear to change as New one is completely diff. Their time was much longer than what they are reimbursed for . Many things to change over for this new one to install. They are asking ESP for more install time.
