Joe, you were right...
Don't ride a 2019 whatever you do
I was at RockStar Harley today, He had a 2017 M8 with only 1200 mi
on it, I thought I'd see how much difference to trade up to the M8 motor
Well, got on it, salesman rode with me on another TG the 107 does have better roll on,
this particular bike was pinging slightly when I gave it throttle but better than the 103
Well, we stopped, that's when I noticed he was riding a 114, so I says "Hows about letting
me ride the 19 back?" he said sure, we were on a 60 MPH road with a lot of curves
On the 2017 I had to WORK to corner it, and was always slowing down because I
didn't think it could handle it, NOT SO ON THE 2019
That revamped suspension...OMG, I was feeling WAY more confident and MUCH easier to
steer throatier motor, shifted better, braked better just MILES ahead of the older ones
Well, for now, I will keep my 2014, that 2017 was basically a 2014 with a 107 is all
I pretty much have that now
To me, after riding a 19, those new forks along with all the other ride upgrades is the star
We're going up north in 6 weeks, when we get back late Sept, I'll probably just cave and get a 19
IMO these are well worth the price...like Joe says, "Whatever you do, don't test ride one"
. I can pretty much guarantee you'll be hooked
