American Custom Mufflers

Has anyone tried the American Custom "Bomber" mufflers on their Tri Glides yet? For $179, you send in your stock pipes and they will refit them with new baffles to make them louder. So far, I have only heard good things.
Their site is: American Custom | harley exhaust | custom exhaust | custom harley exhaust | custom harley parts | harley exhaust pipes | harley pipes | harley mufflers | harley davidson pipes | exhaust for harley | harley sportster exhaust | harley softail exhaust |
I am thinking about installing them on our Trike for a deep, loud rumble.

I don't have the Bomber mufflers, but I have their set on the wife's softail. Without any of the additional baffles, I love the sound. Deep and not excessively loud.

I agree with deputydawg as far as keeping your set. I paid the additional cost for not returning my mufflers. With the direction our exhaust issues are headed, I figured it best to keep the original mufflers.

So true! No problem there. But the dealer definitely doesn't like my PC V fuel management, lol!
I'm about ready to send in my stock mufflers to American Custom for the Bomber set. Can't see letting the stock ones set aound collecting dust.
I might like something louder to change out with my Supertrapp SEs that are a little too quiet.

I just purchased and installed the American Custom Bomber Mufflers. Wow! What a difference. Our trike finally sounds like a Harley. I did purchase the add on mid tone baffles as well just in case I am somewhere (like an RV Park) that might not appreciate the noise. The mid tone baffles install in 2 minutes and quiet the bike down quite a bit. They are small enough to carry in the tour pack. Right now we are running with just the bomber mufflers and love the sound. It certainly allows us to be "heard" on the road which is what we wanted.
