Well they worked with Harley Davidson master techs all day. They started from scratch everything's was checking good. The installed their test equipment on the bike and rode it. Well the 2287 code showed up and they were able to record it on the software recorder. So Harley Davidson is changing the software code and updating the dealers digital technician to load the change in the bike. Let's see what happens

Makes me wonder how long before HD recalls ALL the 19, 20 and maybe the 21 models for software issues

No bikes manufactured should keep having DTC come back and have a dealer say this is not a problem because HD does not have an answer other than throwing more parts at it. JMO

So today the dealership received the new code from Harley that was changed to fix the issue with the b2287 code. Like I said in my previous thread the Tech had his test equipment installed on the bike and recorded the code when it happened. So I was told Harley engineering fixed the problem in the code for the ABS Module. They flushed the ABS Module again and installed the the new software.

The code was happening when I was stopping at stop signs or traffic lights. Applying front and Back brakes while down shifting. They rode the trike down town most of the day today through many stops and goes with no code. Hopefully they have found the problem and the the new software could help others with the same problems. They want to ride it one more time tomorrow then I'll pick it up. Hopefully this is the end to my problems. I let you know.

Well got the trike back today. So they changed the software code and installed it in the BCM. Will follow up after a few rides

Well last Sunday I went for a 2 hour ride. Everything seem to be doing good. Half way through the ride I noticed the brakes felt funny. Well I got home and checked the codes. Well I had the following

ECM U0121h. ECM not communicating with the ABS

ECM U2067h

BCM U0121h BCM not communicating with ABS

BCM b2285h Rear Brake config

SPDO U0121h. speedometer not communicating with the ABS

so I took it back to the dealership. They called in a master tech. They replaced the ABS module. I test rode for 75 miles and the brakes felt like they did from the factory.

So so bottom line the ABS module was failing and finally quit.

those codes i threw also they replaced the abs did the flash also. that was a year ago good luck

i hope i don't give myself bad luck but i checked the codes yesterday and didn't have any. Seems to be ok. I had it done last summer and have run a lot of miles and states since then. In florida now for the winter. Ride it like you stole it, have fun

I get b2285 all the time. Dealer checked it out and found nothing wrong. Battery good. If I keep it on battery tender I don't get the code. My opinion is it is a sensitive battery sensor. At the slightest drop in battery voltage it kicks out the code.

That must explain the b2285 code intermittently showing on his triglide. I took it for a spin after I helped him install the suspension from 4Wheelonline onto his Wrangler. It runs smoothly. The dealer checked it twice and found nothing.

So far so good. The abs module was the problem. 800 miles and no codes. Brakes are working like when it same from the factory. Thank God.
