Looking good, may I ask where you got the extended rear shifter, have found some and it says won't work on my 2018, don't really want to buy a complete set from harley that has the extended rear shifter or go the other way and have both front and rear extended, just want a rear extended shifter
All for now Trampas

Also can't believe the ones I found that don't work on mine or so they say are high priced to say the least, no changes to spline that I know of so I'm not sure why they say they won't fit.

Thanks for the heads up where you got the extended shifter, found the guy and and when I punch in my information it won't work, go figure, beginning to think most of these people don't know what they are talking about, I'm sure harley has not change the spline on the harley so can't figure why he said it will not fit, did find one for the same price from J & P cycles.

Trampas, sorry that didn't work out, but glad you found one.
Guess luck was on my side on this one, because I sure didn't use the compatibility check. I bought solely based on the "fits 1986-18" Harley lingo in the listings title. Apparently the seller didn't even do a compatibility check for the model years in their own title. It may have fit, but ya have to weigh risk vs. reward, especially with some eBay sales.

Hopefully, Kevin doesn't mind me cropping these two images of the LED Light Bracket from their web site. Did it to give you a closer view of the bracket before and after mounting. So if you didn't have to remove/replace the original Tour-Pak Mount, and you still have clearance to insert the LED Light Bracket, all that's needed is to follow their included installation instructions.
I've done two single person Tour-Pak removals and reinstalls, so I'm hoping no more in the future.

So it mounts between the OEM Chrome bracket and the tour pak? Or under the OEM bracket?
That means in my case, it would mount between the OEM chrome bracket and the bottom "base" of the Kuryakyn Adjuster ... might work. Or, under the OEM bracket, would definitely work.
Couple of Questions:
1) when you slide the LED mounting bracket between the OEM Chrome bracket and the tour pack, you are adding "height" to the rear of the tour pak, does the tour pak lean forward, or is there some sort of spacer to keep it on the same plane? Or does the LED bracket go under the OEM Chrome bracket, that would make more sense .. I think. I just went to the DK web site and yep, it appears to mount under the OEM Bracket.
2) Me and tricity are not on the best of terms. How is the wiring accomplished and does it "affect" the Can Bus System??? I have no understanding about the Can Bus system ... all I know is that Alan shouldn't mess with it. The pictures appear to indicate it's plug and play ... which is about the only thing Alan does with tricity on a Can Bus.
Alan, it's sized to easily slide inside the rear opening of mount. Once the pack is upside down, you would loosen the two nuts at rear of mount and slide the bracket inside, torque the nuts back down and make sure wiring comes out front (right side when pack is upright. I'm on a day ride in NW Louisiana, but can post up info when I get back that will make wiring with their Posi-Taps easy for ya.......will get it up tonight.

It goes in the bottom back of the factory rack that is bolted to the trunk. Looks like you still have that, so it may work. ShapeShifter posted the pics.
Here is a LINK to the instructions.
Here's a video-
Yep, will need to pull the rack off the trunk to install...but that is a one time thing...easy for a retired guy. And from then on folks behind you will know you're there.
IF it will fit.
Kevin
Okay ... so I watched the video ... looks like it will work really well with the kuryakyn tour pak relocator. I will need to ensure the wires don't get tangled up when I slide the TP back and forth. Under my seat., I have the wiring that isolates the trailer harness from the bikes harness ... relays I think ... that would probably be a great pace to pull power for this light. All the run, brake and turns are there and the ground.
Where do you run the wires for the light? Just under the chrome OEM bracket with zip ties?
The install for this in my case would be a lot more involved.
Remove tour pak obstacles, flags, antenna's, monkey ... LOL
Remove tour pak.
Remove Kuryakyn adjustable relocator from tour pak.
Remove retention screw.
Separate top from base (Kuryakyn)
Remove rear screws from base.
Install Light. Torque screws.
Run Wires.
Put top on base (Kuryakyn), install retaining screw.
Bolt top to tour pak.
Install all back to tri.
THEN I get to play with the wires ...
The Kuryakyn Adjustable tour pak relocator isn't designed for the Tri. In fact, they say it won't fit. When mounting this thing on a two wheeler, you can get to the retention screw pretty easy. On a Tri, not so much. I had to notch the OEM chrome bracket to make it work. Maybe Kuryakyn was thinking you would remove the OEM bracket, not sure.
In any event, it wouldn't be a big deal for a "Retired Guy" ... .. with or without the Kuryakyn thing, I never was wild about the "gap" ... been trying to figure out what to "fill it with ... Might as well be a bright LED ...
Alan, I scanned the pages below from Appendix A on Wiring from my 2016 Trike Supplement Manual. Page A.3 showed me the Pin Layout, the Run/Brake/Turn Circuit and Wiring Color Codes for the Rear Lighting Connectors (Male & Female Ends). The last Page A-2 identified the Wiring Color Codes. This gave me all the info needed to connect the Posi-Tap Connectors on DK's Harness to the correct Run/Brake/Turn wires on my Rear Lighting Connector in Table A-4, Figure A-16.
If you have a Trike Supplement for your model year, it may have the same info.
Cautionary Note!
If anyone is not sure of their wiring's layout, then conduct a check using a DC capable Multimeter or at a minimum use a Test Light/Voltage Tester. It maybe overkill, but I always pull the 50 AMP Fuse (using the correct procedure for deactivation of a Security System with Siren Alarm) before I begin any Wiring Project, disconnecting the battery or even disconnecting Electrical Connectors.

Finally decided to do the Oil Change and install the Cool-n-Clean Oil Filter Relocation Kit. Installation was easy, followed the enclosed instructions. I chose to use the optional Black Fiber Braided Hose and Black Hose Finishers. As usual the quality, fit and finish of all parts was excellent. Also, installed the new Battery that's been setting around for several weeks.
I now feel confident that the Trike is ready for the trip to SE Michigan in 6 Days and a Wake-up.

Removed the front wheel, then took it over to an independent shop that mounted the Avon AV91 Cobra Chrome Trike Tire...they also added my Dyna Beads. Remounted the wheel, but due to bad weather rolling in, there's no chance to get any "Break-In" (Avon calls it Running in) dry miles. Not really sure what handling or riding character to expect with the Dyna Beads Balancing?
The only other concern I had was to ensure that the newly routed oil filter relocation lines along the frame did not get pinched or damaged when jacking the front.
Now if only Mother Nature would only cooperate.....

Yea, to me it looks a bit huge compared to the Dunlop. Makes the wheel look so much smaller in comparison. Was able to put 103 miles on rural roads between breaks in the rain.
I can feel some vibration in the handlebars at 50 to about 60 mph, so I didn't push it much beyond that. Could be a balancing issue, but I did decrease tire pressure from what the installer had set before putting on the wheel. So will step up from my adjustment of 36 psi up to 38 psi and see if the vibrations remain at those same speeds. If need be will go to 40 psi and see if their are any changes. If neither change gives positive results will get with the installer to find a cure.
These are best shots I can get....still show it's indeed a beefy tire!
