Dropped 'em a message on facebook after I ordered asking about estimated shipping time; they said they should get the jack out the door in two to two and a half weeks. So mid-May or so. I'll keep y'all updated.
Been waiting to pull the trigger for a while, and this got me to do it today:
After months of rigorous testing, J&S Jacks is now releasing our new 8 ton AIR ASSIST and 8 ton MANUAL
hydraulic bottle jacks. These new bottle jacks are custom made to meet J&S Jack’s high standard of
quality!!
etc etc etc from https://jsjacks.com/big-news-from-js-jacks/
I'll update with arrival time and any issues as needed. I've been watching this company for a while, and I know they've had issues in the past, both with service and with their bottle jacks... let's hope they're past that!

Okay, without getting into all the details... apparently there was an issue with their bottle jack supplier. Looong story and a few missed delivery dates later, the lift was delivered today! Will post more when I get home from work.

Finished product. Only minor hassle was figuring out the mount for the T handle, not clear in the instructions. But a couple of minutes of test fitting showed the way.
Extremely well built, everything fit, well packed. Sorry, but the lift pictures will come later... total assembly time was about an hour, but even with a fan, the 95 degree Texas heat made me decide to put off rolling out the Freewheeler and playing with the new lift for later.

Okay ... I gotta ask ... what is the mushroom looking thing in the top left???? guessing some kind of a mechanics seat ... caught my eye because it looks like you can lean forward, back, left and right as needed. Wondering if you ever fall down when you do ... being a confirmed member of the clumsy crowd ... I'm always looking for a mechanics seat that I won't fall off ... ... maybe tell us where you got it if you like it ...
I too am dying to see you lift your ride and get your review on easy and safety factors ...
hehe... yeah, that's a gardening seat that I bought the ol' lady, and since she never uses it, I do! Gotta be careful sitting down on that thing! And it's got a hollow core, so I have a sticker across the top of it. See, we've got wasps that like to build nests in small confined spaces...

Damn happy with it. A little fiddly getting it in just the right place, nothing major. Lifting effort very low, important with my trashed knees, and once lifted, solid as a rock! Definitely worth the bucks.

I used the lift yesterday to install an extended brake pedal, which involved removing the floorboard and engine guard, and also an oil and transmission fluid change. So a lot of torque being applied to fasteners way up front away from the lift, on both sides of the machine. Sucker was solid as a rock. Very very impressed with this lift. Had a very minor issue that I sent a Facebook message about, and had an answer back in about three minutes. Now I don't expect that speed every time, they do have communications issues at times, but they're definitely showing signs of working on that!
