Accessory Connector "Y" Connection?
I've been trying to find a "Y" type connection/harness that would allow us to connect to the Accessory Connector left side cover and give two of the same connection points. Right now my Auxiliary Power Switch Kit harness that's connected there allows me connections for two electronics, but I loss the ability to connect my heated seat to the Accessory Connector.
Any one know if such a cable/harness is available? I do keep track of the total current draw being presented to that connection.

Why not connect the heated set directly to the battery, [Fused] then theres no worry about current draw .Originally Posted by ShapeShifter

I been reserving that type connection for a heated gear connector connection point through the heat shield below the seat. But if all else fails.....Why not connect the heated set directly to the battery, [Fused] then theres no worry about current draw .

I also want to minimize the amount of spaghetti underneath the seat and battery compartment, because space is already limited due the Auxiliary Power Switch Kit Harness and its attached relay.
I could make one myself, but for insurance reasons, I would much rather have a moco or aftermarket manufactured part installed for this puspose.

I don't think that would be a good idea because you could accidently leave the heated seat on and run the battery down. Heated gear must be plugged in and there is less chance of that happening.Why not connect the heated set directly to the battery, [Fused] then theres no worry about current draw .

Yep I didn’t think about the heated seat being on ! With the heated gear you have to plug it in you don’t have to unplug you can do like I did every now and then once you get about 2 feet from the bike it just Automatically Disconnects the wire 😱📞

I wish the moco didn't think we're all boneheads and would connect electronics all willy-nilly with no regards to total current draw....if this type connector was readily available. I like convenience, but don't want to sacrifice good judgement either.

Yeah the automatic disconnect can slow you down somewhat, lol. Had it happen more than once.
Thanks!....I actually bought that adapter harness in December, when I first began getting the parts to use with the Auxiliary Power Switch Kit harness and the left side Accessory Connector. After it arrived I immediately saw that it has 4 Pin connectors and the male end won't fit the Accessory Connector's 8 pin connector, and its 4 pin ends won't connect to the switch harness' 8 pin connectors or my heated seats 8 pin connector
That's when I realized it wasn't going to be an easy find for a plug and play "Y" type harness to connect things the way I wanted. I know for some this seems over kill and unnecessarily, but I'm of the opinion that we all don't have to have cookie-cutter trikes, or be stepfords in our thinking and approach to modifications.

I us Fuzeblocks so I only have one power source coming from the battery then connect all other accessories to the Fuzeblocks. Keeps the battery a lot cleaner. Then you can have a fuse even if your supplied accessory doesn't come with one. This is really nice when you get to where you want a louder horn. With the Fuzeblocks you are ready to go. I know this isn't a wiring harness like you are wanting but I find this much cleaner.
The only reason some people are still alive is it's illegal to shoot them.

Excellent! I didn't know this exists. I have multiple connections on mr battery terminals for heated clothing, etc. This will definitely clean it up, plus its fuse protected
