We have given the dogs tick baths, drops, collars and sprayed their couch
They are still getting ticks, We pull them off every day

Hey Bob, have you tried any of these natural oils? ...lavender (recommended for ticks), lemongrass, cedarwood, geranium, peppermint, or eucalyptus.![]()

I tried everything, When i had two Newfies they were tick magnets, All i could do was check them every day and pull them off when i found them, My Border Collie would pick them up also.....When i go into the woods i get them on me also....The drops doesn't repel them it just kills the ticks after they bite....So new ticks keep on coming....And with all this wet weather and warm winters the ticks are booming...

Ticks seem to have become immune to everything. I get them on me just as much as the dogs. So far I've been lucky to feel them on me before they latch on. But it's just a matter of time. My wife feels essential oils mentioned above are helping. Maybe they are and that's why I feel the darn things. But I don't really like walking around smelling like a flower arrangement though.
The Ol'Lady has all kinds of essential oils
I will try that
Thanks
I don't know how to prevent them. But the ones that are easy to spot aren't as harmful as the itty biddy tiny little deer ticks. They're so small they look like a speck of dust. I can only see them on the white of my cat. Pick it off, if you can't seem to get it off your finger just watch and you'll see it start to move. They're really not much larger than the period at the end of this sentence.
