Hello all, I found this site while looking for a Freewheeler. I don’t have a bike at this time, but plan is to retire next year & buy myself a Freewheeler as a gift for making it through the working years. Rode a Fat Bob for some years till deer jumped out in front of me. With plates & screws now holding my foot on, I sold it, but sure miss riding. I think the trike will be much better for me & a little safer too. Hoping this forum will let me find out ventures.

Dave, welcome to Trike Talk. If you haven't taken a test ride on a Freewheeler you will be surprised how much fun it is. I test rode one in the parking lot of a HD dealer when they were first available. I really liked it better than the Tri Glide because I wasn't used to the fairing so I was more comfortable riding it.

Of course, out on the open road it was different because you have to steer. You can lean until you kiss the asphalt and it will not turn. It took me awhile to get the hang of the push/pull but with the help and encouragement of some wonderful members and friends I got it. I love my Freewheeler.
