Do a Stallion search. Think someone posted on TT about changing to higher gears to get better MPG. Adverse effect. No increase in MPG and more back and forth shifting in hill country riding. Changed back to stock.
I have, in the past, spoken with TMS about this and they said the same thing! Stick with what's in it! If you want better mileage, use non ethanol gas. When I was in Arkansas for a couple of TrikeTalk gatherings, my mileage went to over 40 mpg as there are/were numerous gas stations with regular non ethanol gas. I always got better mileage when I got out of Florida because off the additives they use here. Tomg
That was me. I dropped to a 3.73 and went back to the 4.10. Not enough torque in the little 4 banger to keep it from downshifting for every little hill. Rick
If you got to ride, ride in style
