driving thru the twisties

I have a 2006 Harley Davidson softail standard how much of a raked triple tree do I need to make steering easy in the curves?

6 degrees is optimum for most all trikes but if your going to remove the outrigger and still drive it on 2 wheels, a 6 degree rake will probably effect 2 wheel stability to the point where it will be dangerous...

I use a Traxxion 4 degree rake on my 2009 Goldwing with Tow Pac outrigger and I can still ride it on 2 wheels without any serious instability...

6 degrees will make it feel like you have power steering on the trike and is the most popular rake for people that do a full trike conversion to their bike... If I were going full trike, I would definitely do a 6 degree rake kit...

Papa Zook here on the forum can set you up with a rake kit at a good price should you desire to install one...
