Power Vission

Being computer stupid, just what does the Power Vission do? By the way I'am sueing Smart Water, been drinking it for six months and still dumb as a rock:laugh:

The Power Vision dose many things.

1) Provides you access to all the information that your ECM "knows", you can set you gages that display lots of stuff.

2) Provides you a quick, relatively easy way to flash "tunes" to your ECM.

3) The biggie, Provides you a way to "tune" your bike/trike to how you ride (autotune mode)

4) #2 and #3 will help with keeping your engine cool, make it run better, and improve mpg's

5) Could possibly "void" your warrantee .. that is up for debate.

All I know is it's smarter than me and better at controlling my Harley's functions any day. The Dynojet videos are great tools for getting the information needed to make the choice of which system is right for your needs. I believe the Power Vision Tuner I purchased for old Shiney will most likely help the motor last a very long time. For what they do PV is information central for what is going on in the motor. just sayin. Travel safe FredDSC01024.JPG

Would this device work on six cyl engines as well?? (Goldwings) (U can see that I know nothing about this either ;))

Unless I really missed the boat, they don't make an interface for the Gold Wings. Probably because the Wings are full water cooled, this allows a tighter window for "Meeting Engine Emission Standards", which means that Honda can make the Wing run correctly. Couple that with more cylinders, smaller cylinders, shorter stroke, etc., there just doesn't seem to be a market.

Many, most actually, Gold Wing owners buy Gold Wings because they are "bullet proof" ... even me .. LOL. There are available tuners out there ... but ... they are nowhere near as sophisticated as the power vision. Most just give you a way to "modify" the air fuel tables ... talk about dangerous if you don't understand what is going on there. I would never use them.

So I thinking comes down to "market" ... there just isn't one ... so the developers of these tuners aren't designing the interfaces like the Power Vision.

For Goldwings Dynojet does have a Power Commander V that does mapping and installs. You can also get add-on accessories for AutoTune and an available Power Commander Display. Kind of pricey though.

Input your model year hear and take a look. Be sure to read Product Notes and Warnings!
