Well, It turns out a brand new sidecar plus installation will cost more than I paid for my bike.
Is there a source for used sidecars? Maybe a dealer that buys, sells, trades them?

I would contact Spalding Sidecars (SECO) or California Sidecar. I owned a Sparding sidecar and loved it. Their website has been up and down here lately. Might take a little searching. Last I'd heard they'd moved from Nacogdoches to Lubbock.

Be-careful. Often missing parts/mounts that will cost big money to replace. Hidden damage ect. Shipping cost.
The forum does not like linking to other forums. Something to consider would be buying a complete rig. That would mean selling your ride.
Often complete used rigs offer great value ,and being complete you have a pretty good idea that it works as it should.
Sidecars like most mods get sold at a discount.
A quick search of flea bay showed several

Thanks for the input guys.
At this point it seems a used, complete rig is the way to go.
I've been looking at local ads and I've seen a few so I'm thinking I'll save up a few thousand more and take another look.
Here goes for a complete used rig keep a watch here. Be warned sight is not easy to use. If you find what you want when one comes up ask questions but don't seem to eager. Sidecar's are most often slow to move.
