I looked to add this post to an earlier string but through my search it appeared that most discussion was three years old (2016) so I started a new one.
Earlier in the month of May the "Minister of War and Finance" (the wife) and I went on a 1700 mile ride from northern Utah down to the Grand Canyon and back up through outback Nevada. Good ride but cold and lots of rain; I posted in the ride forum with more detail.
Seems like every ride we go on we learn something new and since we have had the three wheeler less than a year we are still in the steep part of the learning curve. This time it became painfully obvious that the stock HD windshield was at best not doing its job and at worse making matters worse, it was directing rain back off the rim and onto my face shield; thought I was going to drown.
First thing when we got home and dry I started exploring a new windshield; ended up buying a LRS (Long Ride Shield) 10 inch flat top recurve. Ordered and had it in my hands in three days time. My, oh my what a difference. I am in no way associated with these folks but if every purchase yielded as spectacular of results as this one then the world would be a much brighter space!!!!
I am one of those who tend to let everyone within shouting distance know if a product or company is woefully inadequate; only fair that coin have two sides:
So, a shout out to LRS! Very prompt service; excellent quality; easy install; night and day difference in wind-flow, wind buffet, viability, etc.
Could not be happier with this item.
