Changing Handlebars; Electric throttle concerns.

Last December I bought Khrome Werks 2+2 Narrow Sweeper Bars which are built for use with Harley's Bat Wing Faring and the Electronic Throttle Control (ETC). I did my own installation using 2016 Touring Service Manual and online video. After threading the lubricated ETC harness through the bars, I wimped out and didn't attempt installation of the other control harnesses inside the bars. I'm completely satisfied with my cable install method and I'm thoroughly satisfied with the new bars.

So if you have a Service Manual for your year trike, then lots of patience and videos you can get the job done correctly. Torque Wrenches inch and Foot Pounds are must have items! Ensure electronic cables are not pinched or stretched excessively, the wires are very delicate. Take photos of the cable routing on the interior faring. Again, with patience and attention to detail, you'll get it done.

Just purchased the Krome Werk 2+2 narrow for my 2016 tri glide, after reading all the treads on here about the exchange, I am going to install myself, they look great on your bike, and they look like they makes riding a lot more comfortable, can’t wait, going to ride the Tail in July and want them on before then,
