There is a kit on the market for Goldwings that connect under the left front glove pocket where the mp3 cord connects. Then you play the XM through the speakers or helmet using the (AUX) on the radio tuner.

</div>Install a hondaline 12v outlet in the left box, easy connection aready behind box and is detailed in instructions, get a portable xm unit, I have the inno, use the home or car dock plug in the antenna, power and 5mm output jack already on the bike for AUX units, I ran my antenna up to the front back of the windshield,,works like a charm runs right through the AUX function and the power unit is ignition switched. tunes all the way to FAIRBANKS:Pepper:
Got my XM plugged into the right pocket, which is lockable. Got a medium density foam block & cut out the shape of the EASY-X sirius radio / the glove compartment. Now it sits in there & I dont have to worry about it bouncing around in the compartment or taking it off at pee-stops. In my case I needed a J & M wiring adaptor since I run a radar detector, XM & GPS. Was simple enough, 1/2 a mornings work. Well worth it. Never run outta tunes, no matter where. And of course it goes from Trike to car to house, where ever needed!
You dont stop riding because you're getting old. You get old cause you stopped riding
Yes, hard wired. Plays via the AUX through the audio system. Mounted on the left handlebar area. Antenna is velcro-ed to the top of the left pocket.
