Default Muchas gracias por la información / thanks for the information

[QUOTE = DeathBySnuSnu; 679587] He construido uno.

    Traslation:

Thank you very much for your answer, could you give me more information about how you built your trike and if possible attach drawings or measures thank you for clarifying how to invert the wheels

    See above reply.

Also look at this for foot shifting.

You will have to get very creative to invent a way to pull a car clutch with a hand lever. It can be done with shear gorilla like grip strength or you could come up with some kind of power assist servo.

Mine is mostly hand built without any instruction or plan.

When I first built it (old black pictures) it was just a functional design. Whatever works the way I wanted it too design.

The current rebuild is just way over the top. A lot of custom machining.

I have the drive adapter drawings in .dxf format if you want those.

    https://www.triketalk.com/forum/thre...e-to-handbrake

Give me an email address and I will send some files.

Just remember that a very very large amount of what you are considering doing is NOT anything you can buy. YOU will be making a lot of parts.

    Are you up to it?

It will be cool and your own!

But you are going to need a lot of desire and drive to get it done.

    Default Wow!

I'm not shure which is cooler...the in-line shifter mechanism for a vw transaxle, or the fact of an english-speaking guy helping a spanish-speaking enthusiast build a one-off trike over the internet!!

Yeah......Luis is in Brazil.....that is Portuguese he is speaking.

You can call him he speaks English just fine.

There is one of his shifters here in the vw forum.

I am just a waiting on that person's build project to get going again.

Like I said, wow!, looking forward to reading about that project. Would you be kind enough to provide a name or link? I don't know if I have the skills to build a shifter like that.
