First have you lower the pressure in rear tires to 22PSI. Then put the air shocks at 30 PSI and go up from there.
If you have the bucks, you will want to go with this:

If not at least go with this:

Seats are definitely a personal item. I had a Hammock seat and I hated it, while other people love it.
My personal favorite is:

Definitely try 22psi in the rear tires. Try adjusting your rear shock preload. There is a single knob under the seat. It has a lot of clicks, but I would start low & move up 5 at a time.
DK Customs (a sponsor here) sells the best lift kit. I changed to a HD Sundowner Tallboy seat & like it, but for far less you could try a Airhawk seat pad.
Mahalo to you from Missouri & welcome.

I have a Roadking seat on my 17 Freewheeler. I had it on my 15 also

I can attest to the Airhawk. Used mine for my trip from Ohio to Wyoming on my Roadglide special. I just bought A 19 FW. The stock seat sucks. I just put my CVO solo seat on it and it made a huge difference. My wife has the Sundowner on her 15 FW. Its comfortable but to close for me.
Like others have mentioned, lower your PSI to around 21-22 on the rear tires.
A Convertible Comfort Lift™ that you can see at this LINK will also make it easier to steer and a softer ride.
For a truly plush ride, check out this REPORT on rear suspension.
An AirHawk and Sheepskin (yes, with sheepskin it will be cooler too) will also make for a more comfy ride.
Video below shows what all is going on below your trunk and why it feels so bumpy with the stock suspension.
