Newbie from Downingtown, PA

Hello Trikers,

I just sold my 2007 Suzuki Boulevard M109R and am on the hunt for a new(ish) Honda Goldwing with or without a trike kit already installed. I definitely want IRS (copilot wants a smoother ride), it's just a matter of determining which manufacturer to go with. So far I've only looked at Motor Trike, but could be persuaded otherwise. I've been lurking for a few weeks and finally decided to join, mainly because I know this is going to be my next bike.

Thanks ol' School. Is there an iOs app that I can access the forums with (don't like using Safari), or do I need to use my laptop? Also, how do I change my settings to not receive an email every time someone replies to a thread that I created?

Hope this works for you and good luck on your hunt for a trike. Ride as many different kits as you can. I have a 2008 GW with the IRS Motor Trike. It suits me fine in every way. I have driven the GW Roadsmith IRS - that too was a nice driving/riding trike. There are others just as nice.

p.s. The installer is KEY to the whole process. Get a bad installer, get a bad trike. Feel free to ask around for references out here in your neck of the woods.

Thank you, paws! That was getting annoying.

I've found a local shop that has done over 800 conversions, most of them Motor Trikes. Hopefully that is a good indicator they know what they are doing. I spent about an hour in their shop asking questions. I'm comfortable with them. We'll see how they do after money changes hands.

Hello Getoff

welcome to trike talk from east Texas, you have your work cut out for yourself there are many good trike kits out there, don't get in a rush and look at many before to pull the trigger

Like Carla said the installer is the key, if it is done right you will have no problems but, a bad installer and you will have problems and maybe many
