It is good stuff, we used it to clean the trucks off before and after working on them.. Worked on Mack trucks 2 months short of 40 years...
Dang, I love this stuff ... as most of you know, I'm not much into things being pretty, more into functional.
Might have to change that view with this stuff.
My little cargo trailer is done, but there were a couple "issues". There was some over spray from where I touched up the paint after putting the box back on, and there was some residue from the "For Sale" sign my buddy had on it ... he said he'd been trying to sell it for over a year, on and off.
I'll start with the residue:
Before:
With Zep just sprayed on:
After wiping off, there's a tiny bit left, but huge improvement:
Next the over spray, for this it was tough to get a rag into the gap, so I used a plastic body molding tool wrapped in the rag:
Right Before:
Right After:
Left Before:
Left After:
Summary:
WOW! I like to work smarter not harder, mainly because I consider "work" a four letter word ... . Getting the over spray off was a little harder than the residue, as expected. I did do some rubbing with the rag and tool to get the over spray. The residue was literally spray the Zep on .. wait about a minute or two (wasn't counting) and wipe it off. Both Jobs took about 15 minutes.
Wanna send out a huge Thank You to Papa Zook for the recommend ... This is good stuff.

Home Depot sells the Zep Heavy Duty Spray. I think it was about $3.49 for the 24 oz. bottle. There was at least a half dozen other ZEP Products there

Good to Know ... thanks
As you may know, while working on the little trailer, I managed to get some over spray on the trike )and the truck it turns out) ... Zook recommended this stuff, but, I'm cautious about stuff before I put it on my trike ... I took this stuff to the car wash (wand type) with my truck.
I was wanting to test it on some minor overspray on the tailgate (tailgate could use painting and dent repair anyway). I really didn't want to work real hard on it ... LOL ... I came up with the plan to spray the tail gate with the zep, then let it sit while the "suds" got to the brush on the wash ... then to scrub it off with the brush and rinse it. Worked well.
Next I took the trike to the car wash. Plan was to do the same thing on the rear ... my biggest worry was I'd have to re do the ceramic. Nope ... let the zep sit for a bout 30 seconds or so, scrubbed with the brush and suds ... rinse ... only problem, I forgot the worx blower to dry it, so there were water spots when I got home.
I think my concerns about loosing the ceramic have been alleviated ...
Looks like the ceramic is still repelling everything ...
Geesh....ya didn’t use the spot free water???
Looks good.
