Audio issues, 2019 Triglide

Using an iPhone 6 in the cubby hole. When the outside temps get near 80, the whole system gets whacky. Songs restart, skip to another song, cut out and then back in after 10 seconds or so and the tuner page shows up on the screen. Once I tried running with the cover open and it seemed to cool and work a bit, but then it went screwy again. Any one else experiencing something like this?

I had similar problems with my 2017 Tri...Using thumb drives, That little compartment gets awful hot in the summer.. ... ...

It's under warranty...insist that your dealer fix it.

I had been using a thumbdrive on my Toyota, but when I redid it to add songs, I could not get it to work again. This is all getting very frustrating!

It’s the heat in the small enclosed spare. Cellphones, USB drives etc. will all do the same thing. I am fairly certain HD will tell you there isn’t a problem with the system.

I have the same issues with an old iPhone 4 I use for songs and audio books in the truck. I do not use it until the truck cools off, no problems.

Just to add.......My 17 came with a foam insert in the cubby hole, I removed it and that seemed to help a little....That foam held a lot of heat....

Been running it with the foam insert removed. First run seemed to be better. Going to do the update and see if that helps too.

I run my iPhone SE in the pocket for audio books and I've had no issues ... even running in the Nevada desert in 96* temp ... the SE is smaller, so maybe more room for air ... although I do also have the garage door clicker thing in there too ...

I haven't done the software upgrade yet, but learned how to transfer my iTunes to a thumbdrive. So far that's workout out really well!!

I had a thumbdrive in my Toyota Rav4 and wanted to ad songs to it from iTunes. Would not work. I had been trying for the past month to get it to work. I also had trouble using my iPhone 6 on my 2017 Triglide. It kept skipping and repeating when it got hot outside. The two problems have been driving me batshit! Downloaded Media Monkey and it easily transferred all my stuff to two thumbdrives and they work in the Toyota and the Triglide!

I'm so happy about it that I registered for the full version of Media Monkey and paid the $25.
