Question, just curious is all

My 2018 triglide when I stop and shut if off, the fans run for a little bit, haven't heard them when riding

My 2017 Tri Glide does that too. Just cooling it off a little

They will run until the engine temperature lowers to within limits, then they will shut off. On a good hot day I have had mine run for 30 seconds or more

I forgot to say in my other post the fans on my 2016 hardly ran at all and they was on, they just never run even on the hot days and it was stock

When temps hit 100* and I'm riding around town ... mine will run for like 10-15 seconds after I shut her down .. but mine is far from stock ...

When I first got my trike I knew nothing about fans and how they operated. So I stop to get gas and turn off the engine and I hear this strange noise and it scares the he** out of me. I thought I had already broken something and I hadn’t even driven 50 miles on it. After it stopped I realized it must be the fans. I felt kind of foolish there for a moment.
